Governing bodies
The School's governing bodies are:
- the Administration Committee;
- the Scientific Committee;
- the Directors.
Administration and Scientific Committees
The Administration Committee deals with the School's
financial aspects. It consists of one representative each of the
Italian and Tunisian Ministries involved, one representative for
the University of Pavia, one representative for the University of Tunis
and a representative of the Italian Advanced Schools Network.
The Scientific Committee draws up the School's programs and
evaluates the results. It consists of teachers from Pavia and Tunis
Universities, the Italian Advanced Schools Network, the
Director of the European School of Advanced Studies in Media
Science and Technology in Pavia, and a representative of the
Companies contributing to the School's funding.
For the start-up period an "ad hoc" temporary committee
has been instituted.
The committee consists of two representatives for Pavia and Tunis
Universities respectively.
The representatives for the University of Pavia are:
- Virginio Cantoni, Director of the European School of
Advanced Studies in Media Science and Technology in Pavia
- Franco Visintin, a former Technical Director in RAI
The representatives for the University of Tunis are:
- Latifa Rabai, Professor of the Institut Supérior de Gestion
of Tunis
- Lamia Labed, Professor of the Institut Supérior de Gestion
of Tunis
Directors
The Directors, appointed by the Administration Committee,
implement the programs drawn up by the Scientific
Committee and, for the financial aspects, puts into effect the program
approved by the Administration Committee.
For the 2002-2007 period the Director is:
Virginio Cantoni.
